Tom Corpolongo is a graduate of the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with an understudy in broadcast journalism and a Bachelor of Science in film from the Univerisity of Central Florida.
After starting his career in the lighting and camera department of commercials and corporate projects for brands including Nike, Gatorade, Burger King, Ford, Accuweather, Direct TV, Johnson & Johnson, Ray-Ban, and music videos for artists including LL Cool J, Marilyn Manson, and Gloria Estefan, Tom honed his skills behind the camera in roles such as Director of Photography, Writer, and Field Producer for short form documentary programming airing on PBS, The Travel Channel, Discovery, FOX, CNN, CNBC, ESPN, Lifetime, and TLC, as well as several independent and feature films.,
He’s been part of several Emmy Award winning production teams and has won awards for cinematography, producing, and directing throughout his 24-year career.
While he continues to pursue writing and directing short and feature length films, his camera work can be seen in commercials and programming airing on broadcast television and in domestic & foreign film festivals.
